"As a competitive tennis player, the physical demands of the sport are very high and through Harrison’s coaching I have been able to massively improve my performance and durability. Harrison is a very technical coach and knows how to train very specifically for the demands of my sport. Every session is uniquely and specifically designed to improve a certain area of my game. Since working with him I have managed to become the no1 U16 player in the UK, won my first international U18 tournament and am current ranked within the top 300 U18s globally and climbing.
Harrison’s training has helped me to always be more physical and powerful than my opponents even in U18 and able to outwork and outlast them. From what I’ve seen from other players programmers, his is much more technical and trains me more specifically to the demands of tennis. He has also given me lots of advice on other aspects such as health, nutrition and general well-being so I keep improving even when I’m off the court. Harrison is very adaptable to people’s fitness demands and would be able to help any athlete in any sport to become their best."

"What makes Harrison unique is how well he can spot issues in my movement and body. Anyone can train a healthy body, but it takes real expertise and knowledge to help someone that was in my situation. I love skiing and after a surgery on my knee left me without any stability or strength in my leg, I thought my skiing days were behind me. Harrison came highly recommended but even then, I wasn’t sure how much could be done.

We worked to first strengthening and rebuild the balance and control in my leg before setting out to help the rest of my body which had picked up injuries and compensations due to my leg. I was also working with his brother who is a soft tissue therapist between sessions to massage any overly tight muscles.
I have been training with Harrison for years now and am happy to say I am back on the slopes skiing better and then ever. I don’t even think about my knee anymore and can ski completely fearlessly. I can’t thank you enough for all you have done for me. You and your brother are my dream team!!"

"Despite having a very athletic background, going to the gym has never really something I found I particularly enjoyed or could find a lot of motivation for. After multiple injuries and surgery, my movement, mobility and general strength had taken a hit so when I started with Harrison I knew he had his work cut out! Harrison is very goal orientated and combined with his very high knowledge (both exercise and nutrition), teaching skill and easy-going coaching style, I managed to find my groove getting into the gym and building up my strength.

"Harrison’s guidance and expertise over the last 12 months training together have been invaluable. Being a popular and busy coach I had reservations as to if I would be treated as ‘one of the many’ but I really feel that Harrison takes a deep interest in my training and is always responsive, motivational and pushes me to be the best I can be. Sometimes my diary can get busy and workouts are hard to do but the thought of letting him down by skipping training speaks volumes to how much of a supportive and passionate coach he is.

"I love skiing so when my knees got to the point where they I was experiencing near constant pain I was devastated and knew I needed help to get them stronger. I had never worked with anyone before Harrison but he supportive and was quick to assure me that he would be able to create a programme for me that would not put too much pressure on my knees and make them worse. "I had never worked with a trainer before Harrison but he came recommended with very high praise. I felt I needed a coach as at the time I wasn’t as athletic on the tennis court as I wanted to be and had been suffering with repeat injuries which would always set me back. I had always trained by myself but felt that there might be areas of my body that I might be neglecting.
When we first sat down together, he took the time to dive deep into exactly the demands of tennis, my habits that what we could do to prevent any further injury. Since we have started, I have had a complete overhaul on my training focus. I now train with a very strong emphasis on mobility and stability training particularly for my hips, ankles, and core.

"My job requires me to spend a lot of hours sitting and hunched over a laptop so when I first came to Harrison I was suffering very badly with a shoulder injury and my posture was far from ideal. My hectic work schedule meant that I ended up in a routine that wasn’t balanced and I was missing out on a lot of key muscles groups that were making things worse. Harrison has since then put a lot of focus on all the posterior muscles I was missing which helps to counteract all the time I spend sat down. My shoulder pain has almost completely gone, and I can feel myself standing straighter. I really enjoy the variety Harrison brings to each programme all whilst keeping it rooted solidly to my goals."

"I came to Harrison back in 2015 as my course of physiotherapy on my back was coming to an end. At the time I was recovering from a prolapsed disc and my recovery time had severely impacted my fitness. From the start Harrison was enthusiastic and supportive in encouraging me to try progressively more challenging exercises. We put a lot of focus into strengthening my core and my back and improving my mobility as I had become very tight in my hips.

"Before I started training with Harrison, I was struggling with a weak core / glutes and was suffering badly with near constant back and neck pain. This made me feel trapped as I knew I needed to get stronger but was worried weight training would aggravate them and cause things to get worse. Harrison really took the time to understand my needs and created a tailored programme for me that would ensure I not only built strength in the right places, but also fixed the postural issues I had that were causing my pain.

"I was struggling following an achilles operation. My walking was very unbalanced and despite training hard in the gym I didn’t feel like I was making much progress. From the start Harrison displayed a deep level of understanding of mobility, what was causing my problems and introduced me to functional training which puts a lot more focus on getting the body to move better to the demands of my life.

I first started training with Harrison to help prepare for the London Marathon in 2019. It was my first marathon and I was really nervous about taking on the distance. I was looking for help with strength and conditioning to complement the running / cardio I was already doing and being a mum of 2, l needed a way to be able to fit everything and to work around my hectic schedule. I had been recommended Harrison by a few people so knew he would have a good understanding of how to get me stronger but without compromising my marathon training.

It’s been really important to work on strength and conditioning as this has helped me stay injury-free especially when I’m doing a huge amount of miles in a marathon training block. The running-specific exercises have really helped to add to my speed, and I have learnt so much about nutrition and fuelling myself over long distances which has aided endurance. Working a lot on mobility and balance has been a game-changer and enabled me to achieve personal best times over all distances over the past couple of years. Harrison really comes across as both particularly attentive to detail and technique on the strength work compared to other trainers I have used in the past, and really knowledgeable about training and performance-development. He is always flexible and really puts the time in to tailor each session to what I need that week, for example if I had an event coming up on the weekend, if I have had any niggles or minor injuries or have less time due to home commitments.

Since working together these last few years I have go on to run 5 marathons in total and even hit my dream of qualifying for the Boston this year. I can say enough good things about his coaching and would 100% recommend Harrison to anyone working towards a sporting goal or wanting maximising their performance.
